Using Tags in QnA

Once you are signed in you can begin to ask questions or answer them. In order to find questions asked by SHR pupils, you must tag your questions with shr otherwise it will be nearly impossible to locate these questions. Other tags that would be a really good idea are;

  • shropschool (to indicate you belong to a school in Shropshire)
  • your login ID (this makes it easy to find all your questions)
  • the subject (e.g. maths, geography etc)

Click here for an example of tags

Searching for questions using tags

In the search box, type in tag:shr – this will find all the questions tagged with shr. tag:shr and tag:history would find all the shr history questions. tag:shr and tag:curtt1 would find all the questions by Mr C etc.

For those of you who use RSS feeds, you can get a feed for tag:shr and add it to your blog so you can keep in touch with the latest questions. Search for tag:shr and then click on the orange RSS button.
