KSL3 – Development of number
You need to have three print outs of your spreadsheet (make sure your name appears in the header of all printouts). Check print preview and make sure your printouts are on one page. Click here to find out how.
3 Printouts;
- An intermediate stage for your spreadsheet – this should include all of the main data for your spreadsheet but leave the calculations blank at the moment. Annotate this printout to indicate what you are going to do next.
- A finished spreadsheet which displays formulas, grid lines and row and column headings. Click here to find out how
- A finished spreadsheet which displays the results as normal
=if and charts
- Development of number: You will need to add an =if function to indicate whether you are over or under budget.-Click here for help on =if
- You will also need to add a chart to your spreadsheet;
- this could be a bar chart to show the total expenditure by university or
- a pie chart giving a break down of expenditure
